Hardware & Networking/Cyber Security

Network Engineers are a key occupation in most organisations, which are increasingly dependent on their digital networks. The demand for people who can manage, build, maintain virtual and physical networks is increasing. This is because of technological developments such as 5G and Cloud. The broad purpose of the occupation is to install computer networks, maintain them, and offer technical support to users where necessary.

Cyber Security is an evermore important job role, as more and more platforms begin to move online. The demand for people who can secure data, detect danger and act to stop cyber attacks is a growing one that provides many opportunities.

Traineeships

A Hardware & Networking Traineeship is a great way to get your foot into the door, as you will receive the necessary skills needed to progress into an apprenticeship.

A traineeship provides you with 4-6 weeks of training, in conjunction with 4 weeks of work placement experience as a Hardware & Networking Engineer. This is to build up your skillset and knowledge as you will learn how to install computer networks, maintain them, and offer technical support to users.

Cyber Security traineeships can help you launch your career, by developing your skills over 4-6 weeks and providing you with 4 weeks of experience in a cyber security role as placement. Providing you with the knowledge necessary to pursue a cyber security apprenticeship.

It is highly recommended you complete the Traineeship, before applying for Apprenticeships as understanding the fundamentals of Hardware & Networking/Cybersecurity as well as having proof through placement is highly advantageous to the learner.
