Apprenticeships Overview

A Content Creator Apprenticeship job is responsible for developing and creating content that can be used across a variety of media including digital, social media, broadcast or in print. The apprenticeship will require the dedication of 15-18 months of a learner's time, which should be considered when you apply.

You can work in advertising, marketing, digital agents, or in interactive roles for broadcasters. The job role is to research, prepare and develop the media messaging to maximize audience engagement, capturing the strategy and objectives of the brand and needs of the customer who you are representing. The content you need to create is as part of media, advertising, and marketing campaigns.

A Content Creator Apprenticeship is an effective way to become a Senior levels position into Content Creation Department across the advertising industry, marketing industry, digital agencies, or in interactive roles for broadcasters.

One-to-one Support

Level 3 Content Creator Apprenticeship lasts for up to 15-18 months, with apprentices coming into the training centre on a weekly basis for class based training sessions with the tutor. Additional training comprises of 1:1 support and work place visits that provide a blended learning approach. Apprentice and the employer are provided with a full training schedule at point of induction/enrolment onto the apprenticeship which will give clear picture for the apprentice and the employer.

In addition to the Tutor-led knowledge modules lesson, you will have a Skills Coach (SC) and a Digital Programme Coordinator (DPC) assigned to support you throughout your apprenticeship.

The DPC will contact you every other week to discuss your knowledge module training progress and to check whether you understand the training. They will also discuss your work placement opportunities to gather evidence for your Summative portfolio.

The Skills Coach will work with you to develop your portfolio of evidence for the End Point Assessment. He/she will support you in gathering evidence for various workplace projects.

Both will support your employer (Technical Line Manager) to complete your Employer Reference / Evaluation, a document which highlights key competency and behaviour you have demonstrated for the final assessment, as part of the End Point Assessment.

In every one-to-one session, we will set up an action plan with SMART targets for you to complete, so that you can progress smoothly on your apprenticeship journey and achieve your apprenticeship as LVC has planned with yourself and your employer.
